Description
The WIMA HDS-SV Density Separator is ideal for applications like separating wet wood from minerals, efficiently sorting materials with densities greater than 1 g/cm³ using a propeller-generated upflow. Building on the proven upflow principle of the HDS series, the HDS-SV introduces advanced capabilities, including enhanced washing of the heavy fraction. Its design features a separation chamber, dewatering screen for lightweight materials, and a screw conveyor for heavier materials. A continuously adjustable propeller within the chamber enables precise control of flow velocity, ensuring accurate separation, with lightweight materials directed to the discharge unit and heavy materials efficiently conveyed for removal.
