Description
The Terex® FM Bucket Wheel range offers highly efficient sand classification systems that excel in dewatering and removing silts, slimes, and clays. These units can produce up to two saleable products, making them ideal for a variety of applications, including concrete, mortar, and asphalt sands, quarry dust, lake and beach sands, silica sand, golf course sands, filter bed sands, recycled materials, and iron ore. The range integrates a dewatering bucket wheel, centrifugal slurry pump, hydrocyclone, collection tank, and dewatering screen, all on a single chassis for streamlined operation.
Key features
- Can recover 1 or 2 grades of sand from wet feed or bolt-on boiler box option for direct dry feed.
- Maximum recovery of saleable material through the removal of silt, slimes and clays below 75μm (200 mesh).
- Variable speed bucket wheel processes 80-90% of material, reducing wear on the rubber lined pumps & cyclones.
- Major reduction in fine material discharging to the water management system, thus reducing recovery cycle and cost.
