Description

The Doppstadt AK 640 SA, the flagship model of the AK series, delivers top-tier throughput with its large feed hopper and advanced engine technology while maintaining transportability akin to smaller models. It combines high performance, efficiency, and flexibility through separate drives for the scraper floor and pendulum feed roller, ensuring continuous shredding and optimal machine use. The nearly 6-meter-wide hopper accommodates large materials, and the 7.5-meter-long, 1.5-meter-wide discharge conveyor, with a height of over 5 meters and the ability to lower to ground level, facilitates easy access for maintenance. The AK 640 SA features easy component replacement, high diagnostic capability, and a new MTU 6R 1500 diesel engine meeting Stage V emissions standards. Enhanced with stainless steel exhaust piping and effective thermal shielding for improved fire protection, it offers robust performance while being easily transportable with dimensions of 12 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width.
